   LOL Bose is so ridiculous when they exaggerate how if it’s not a Bose system, then the speakers are 5 ft. tall and have each have their own amp + preamp. How bout maybe a system with 3 ft. tall speakers, and a A/V receiver with everything built in? Or bookshelf speakers?

   But then, Bose is ridiculous anyway. SO overpriced it’s not even funny.

   I completely agree with you my friend. there is no substitute for a true multi channel surround sound system how ever many speakers you are using(5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 7.2, 9.2, or even 11.2). Gouldmund actual has a 32 channel system it’s sick. check out the million dollar home theater on youtube.

   It’s called phantom …
   It’s called phantom center. Where the two front speakers project the sound in a way to make it seem like you are using a center speaker. but you are correct it is better to use a dedicated center speaker. Just like it is better to use actual surround speakers. 5.1 there is no substitute! And most people have the 321 technology in their current TV sets Bose just adds a bass module which is their version of a subwoofer.

   You cant get 5.1 or 7.1 from a 2.1 system -_- Listen to how they say “spacious” not surround sound. That 321 system cant replace a real home theater.
