I have a room that is 12 x 11. I prefer wireless. I want a system with an upconverting DVD player. The home theater reciever needs to have an optical audio input. I want a home theater in a box.
On the one hand you want a good system. On the other hand you want a wireless home theater in a box. Well, which is it?
Edit: Bose systems do not connect like other systems so unless the wireless adaptor was made especially for Bose it won’t work right.

For simplicity, I almost always recomend a Bose system, above average quality, easy to use, easy to set up.
I don’t think they yet have a wireless system, but Best Buy sells a wirelss transmitter for rear speakers that would be compatible. You do need to realize, with a wireless system, you will lose some quality, but not enough that most consumers would realize.

What is your budget? Do some homework to educate yourself on the pros and cons of HTIB(Home Theater In a Box). Most out of the box system DO NOT have optical audio inputs. Upconveting DVD players separate units and not included in the systems.
Good Luck

You can go for either Panasonic SC-PT750 Deluxe 5 DVD Home Theater System or Onkyo HT-SR800 7.1 Home Theater Entertainment System (Black).
