I already have the speaker connectons on the walls but I want to put a projector and other things necessary for a home theater.
I want to use it for movies and tv and video games.
i want to hook up my gamecube.
take your master home theater reciever and plug up EVERYTHING to it. game console, speakers(on an output base), DVD player, and for the video output, wire it to the input on the projector, this should get everything linked together, i’m in the same situation right now, we’re contemplating replacing our Full size HDTV w/ a plasma HDTV. and with it we would get a bose, because my moms alwys wanted one, she loves the realistic sounding FX and stuff on movies. so that would leave 1 HDTV and 1 home theater system that wouldnt have a major use, so when they do i want to add, 48" and 600w to my xbox360 total experince lol hope you enjoy your setup it sounds sweet!

So what’s the problem?
If you have a receiver this would be the center of your system, and you would hook up the rest of your equipment to the receiver.

Well the reciever would take care of all that, once you have it, you can attach any number of things to it, almost any number. I suggest going to en electronics or a home theater store, maybe even a Circuit City and tell them about your set up and what would be the best way and best reciever to get. Good luck

Hello. You really need to be more specific with what you’re looking to do. Are wanting to have a home theater system more for playing games or watching movies? Do you have a price in mind? It would be really nice if you could break down how much you’d like to spend on speakers, a receiver, and a projector and screen. The more detail you give the better.

Im no expert on home electronics, but even to me, its pretty much common sense. How are you Confused? Try Hooking your Gamecube and home theater stuff (not very technicial but oh well) to where your controls for the surround sound is. Sorry if i didnt help.
