The item is the world’s first truly innovative headphone system that utilizes 6 independent speaker chambers and safebass patents to generate rich 5.1 six channel surround sound effects. The newly designed USB adapter with integrated sound card, which allows the connection from the headset directly to any PC USB port — with or without a sound card. Detachable microphone is perfect for your next serious on-line match, competition or LAN party.
Customer Review: Save your money for something that works
Another fine example of the current state of product development. Obviously, the designers never tested these in actual use, or have no knowledge whatsoever of acoustics and how speakers work. The microphone is actually attached to the left speaker. Read that last sentence again, and see if you can figure out why that would be a problem. If you turn up the headphones loud enough to hear, the microphone feeds back. You don’t even have to be using them. Just plug them in and set them down and they feedback all by themselves. Oh, and the volume controls on the side to not work either. Other than that, these are just fine. Please, feel free to donate your money to another exploitative corporation who are betting that most people are too busy to have the time to demand a refund. The creeps.
Customer Review: Very nice headphones but…
I enjoy these headphones quite a bit but I have stopped using the USB connection to drive them. I find that the included adapter plugged directly into the audio jacks on my existing sound card delivers as good a sound, though not 5.1, as the usb unit. The trouble is that when using Teamspeak, or Ventrilo gaming, it has caused some annoying crashing and other sound issues. Directly plugged in, no troubles at all. But the biggest surprise was using them with my MP3 player. They produce glorious sound from the tiny output of my Sandisk. I liked them so much I bought my wife a set for her evening listening and she loves them too, although she did comment that they needed to be a bit crisper( which I took to mean brighter)and I have to agree. But they are very smooth and easy on the ears. The microphone is also very good and clear and my fellow gamers comment on the great sound they get from it. They are reasonably light weight and have been quite durable. Again, while the USB is fine for DVD playback and standard listening, in full communication use they need a driver fix. “BUY NOW”
