    The proper …
The proper placement for a subwoofer is to start the test tone and place it around the room where it sound best is where it goes. usually one of the front corners is best so the sub can utilize the walls as well as the floor.

    Set-up C placement …
Set-up C placement for a subwoofer and home theater speakers is the best set-up.

    Are you a sciolist? …
Are you a sciolist? It does matter where you put a subwoofer. Put it in the middle of a room and you won’t have any deep bass. Also, some areas of the room where you put a subwoofer will cause the same problem.

  7. boominrick says:

    It does not matter …
It does not matter where you put the sub. You cannot tell where bass/low freq come from.

Our ears can only tell the direction of high freq.

  9. GreenArrow1616 says:

    He is almost right …
He is almost right on all except for the surround speakers. They should always be placed on the side walls 6 feet off the ground or 3 feet above the listener and three feet in front of the listener. Your ears aren’t on the back of your head, right? So why should your speakers.

I don’t think it really does matter where to put the subwoofer,if you want to put it right or left must to be the same, if you want to get a nice and deep bass, just spent some bucks buying a good sub

    probably the best …
probably the best position for the subwoofer is where the center channel is

i got a ported subwoofer box in the middle and sounds very good. better than the corner.

  22. JoeNostalgiaReturns says:

    wtf is wrong with …
wtf is wrong with the Sub on the left?

  23. ch0c0TURTLE says:

    rear speakers …
rear speakers should be at ear level WHILE STANDING. and front speakers should be at ear level WHILE SITTING. also front speakers should be at an angle as well and center speaker is the only speaker that should be placed facing directly straight. this video was ALMOST right. so yes rear surrounds should be higher for best effect.
