    uummmm… the woofers in the boxes are matched with the mids and tweeters in the boxes so in no way will the ‘cone push too much air and over power the vocals’. also it depends on how loud you want it. if he wanted super pumping sound then he can have some 6 foot high towers with 15″s in them. its better that it be too big cause then you can turn it up if needed.

    Your LFE channel (or .1) will carry the bass. I have floor models (left/center/and right) and the bass doesn’t over power anything (this is why we balance our systems and set proper crossover points). I understand what you are trying to do and I appaud you for taking this on – but some of your information is dangerous and can cost people their systems.
