You forget to …
You forget to mention modal ringing. That is the biggest problem in audio reproduction. Modal ringing is your bass bouncing off the walls back and forth several times making the bass effects last longer and sound muddy. To reduce modal ringing you need either slightly sloped walls and/or bass traps.
Bass traps you can make yourself, or buy some. Here are links if you want more information. The bigger your room is, the more traps you need.
